About Us-old

OUR VISION:

To be the preferred financial institution, positively changing the lives of our members

Why Choose Us?

We turn frustration into action.
Postal started when a few post office workers were frustrated with not qualifying for loans or getting the financial help they needed. We help post office workers, their families and more get the financial help they need.

OUR MISSION:

To excel in providing sound financial services, offering responsible advice for savings and investments, enhancing members’ standard of living, fostering economic independence, and ensuring the society’s ongoing viability.

We put you first

Our members can save, find loans and get insurance with us. Each product has been specifically designed to be affordable and reasonable based on the lifestyle of our members. We acknowledge we might not fill every need, but you can always get in touch with us, and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Delivering financial solutions…

CORE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES

At its heart, PPCCUL operates on the cooperative principles of democratic member control, economic participation, people helping people and concern for the community. Each member has an equal say in the decision-making process, typically exercised through the election of volunteers. This democratic structure ensures that the credit union remains responsive to the needs and interests of its members, rather than external shareholders.

Economic participation is another vital aspect, where members contribute equitably to, and democratically control, the capital of the credit union. This model not only empowers members but also fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the institution’s success and sustainability.

Concern for the community is exemplified through various social and economic initiatives that PPCCUL undertakes. By providing financial education, supporting local projects, and offering products tailored to meet the needs of diverse member groups, PPCCUL reinforces its commitment to the welfare of the community it serves.

Services and Impact

PPCCUL offers a comprehensive suite of financial services designed to enhance the financial well-being of its members. Savings accounts, personal loans, and insurance form the backbone of its offerings, providing members with essential tools for managing their finances and achieving their life goals. Additionally, PPCCUL provides business loans and development support, playing a crucial role in fostering local entrepreneurship and economic development.

One of the distinguishing features of PPCCUL is its focus on financial education and literacy. Recognizing that knowledge is key to financial empowerment, the credit union conducts workshops, seminars, and one-on-one counseling sessions. These initiatives help members make informed decisions, avoid debt traps, and plan for the future effectively.

The impact of PPCCUL extends beyond individual members to the broader community. By promoting savings and responsible lending, PPCCUL contributes to the economic stability and resilience of the communities it serves. Moreover, the credit union’s surplus is reinvested in the form of member incentive, better services and community projects, ensuring that the benefits of financial success are shared widely.
